Family Photography in the Fort Worth Stockyards and Hotel Drover

I had the best time capturing this stunning mother daughter duo in one of my very favorite Fort Worth locations for family and senior portraits! As a Fort Worth family photographer, I always try to help my clients plan the vision for their session by discussing location options. This Texan inspired location is perfect for mixing a bit of rustic with a bit of glam and creating a magical and elegant backdrop for family pictures. I simply adore the green cacti garden at sunset when the light shimmers in through the trees creating a soft golden glow.

As a native Texan who grew up in Fort Worth and attended TCU in college, the Fort Worth Stockyards will always have a piece of my heart. Recently, with the addition of the Hotel Drover and 97 West the Stockyards have added even more gorgeous Texan inspired backdrops. It is simply the perfect location for those families who want to capture the memory of living or growing up in Fort Worth by displaying portraits in your home with these Fort Worth landmarks!

My favorite outfit combination in this location is sleek black with a pop of color. I’d say they pulled it off perfectly with their gorgeous black dresses and a red heel to add the perfect accessory!
