Hello!  My name is April and I am the owner of April Christine Photography. I am a family and senior photographer in Southlake, Texas, near Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas.

Some random facts about me: I love the color pink (second would be TCU purple!), coffee, margaritas and Mexican food, wine, Kendra Scott, and all things feminine and vintage. Aside from photography, my other passions are working out (you can often find me on my Peloton) and traveling. My weekends are frequently spent at my oldest daughter’s club volleyball tournaments.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved photography. I used to look at old black and white photos of my grandparents and great grandparents as a child, and it took me back to a time long before I was born. Being able to capture the present, and preserve a fleeting moment in time, is truly priceless.

A mother to two beautiful girls, and wife to an amazing husband, my love for photography deepened after my oldest daughter was born 12 years ago.  Seeing how quickly  moments vanished as she grew, I clung to photography as a way to preserve those moments.

I often look back at photos of my girls as babies and think "I wouldn't even remember that if it wasn't for this photograph".  Photography is truly a precious gift.
